a NEW fire rated door frame system that provides
the beauty of natural wood finishes regardless
of fire rating. Additionally, the patented composition
of the frame system provides the required protection
and desired appearance at a far lower cost than
currently available products. Combining these
features with a unique installation system makes
this frame one of the most revolutionary products
available for upper end commercial buildings,
executive offices, boardrooms, and other prestigious
applications.
The door frame can be supplied non-rated, 20 minute
rated, 45-60 minute rated and 90-120 minute rated
-- all with the same profile and unlimited assortment
of wood veneers and high pressure laminates. Because
the fire rating is achieved with intumescent materials
on the frame itself, the doors can be either positive
or neutral pressure tested and still meet the
fire rating. Using WSCP's unique adjustable casing
system makes the frame even more versatile or
the frame can be fire rated using standard wood
casings supplied by the end user or distributor.
This revolutionary door frame is the result of
a year-long effort to provide the commercial market
with a hardwood door frame that meets the requirements
for jobsite uniformity, simple installation, design
flexibility, fire protection, superior performance
and significantly lower cost than current products.
